Try before you buy !

Would you like to see this system in action? You can download this software and try out all of the functionality that it can provide to increase the efficiency of managing your clinic.

The demonstration version is limited to 8 patient records, and you cannot modify any of the forms or reports. Because of that, if you modify the callback fields in the clinic information form, the labels in the main patient visits area will not be modified to reflect those changes. Also, there is a module that allows you to change the background and colors used by all forms. This functionality is also disabled, for the same reason. Other than these restrictions, the demonstration version of the system is fully functional, and the demo version will not expire.

There is now a (very) basic free version available too!

Please Note: It has been discovered that Microsoft Access 2010 is NOT backward compatible with the Demo or Full versions of VetSysDB. If you have Microsoft Access 2010, you will likely get an error about a broken reference to MSCAL.OCX - this reference is the calendar control that is used in multiple places in VetSysDB.

There is a work-around solution that has been reported to be effective. If you are interested in trying this work-around, please email support@vetsysdb.com.

Addressing this compatibility issue is currently a work in progress, however this will take time. Several approaches to resolving the problem are being investigated.

System Requirements

  • Windows NT, 2000, XP or Vista
  • 256MB RAM
  • Recommended 100MB disk space
  • Microsoft Access 2003 or later
  •       OR
  • The Microsoft Access 2007 RunTime software

Using the Demonstration Version

Aside from the above mentioned restrictions, you can explore all of the functionality of the system. The demo version will be most useful to you if you use it to create real-world records. You are restricted to 8 patient records, but you can create as many visit records as you like. This allows you to really give the system a workout, so that you can see how well it addresses your particular needs.

Add a new patient - create some visit records, experiment with the Clinic Charges button. While creating clinic charges, be sure to click the Drugs, Services and AdHoc Sales buttons, so that you can see how easily you can add or change an item and immediately see the changes in the drop-down lists of the Clinic Charges form.

Some of the reports, such as monthly sales and tax reports, are generated based on the previous months data. Because of that, after you have created some visit records, you may want to temporarily set your system date to the following month, for the purpose of checking those reports.

Don't spend too much time inputing or updating things like the list of services you provide, the drugs and sales items you sell, diagnosis types, etc. Your time will be better spent compiling your list of services, sales items and drugs, so that should you decide to purchase the system, you will be ready to set the system up the way you want it.

Download Files

First, simply download and save the Demo VetSysDB file.

If you do NOT have Microsoft Access installed, you can visit the Microsoft download site. Download and install that software, and you will then be able to run the VetSysDB Veterinary Clinic Management system.

Next, simply navigate to the folder where you saved the VetSysDB Veterinary Clinic Management file, and double-click it to open it. The downloaded file will create an installation folder and desktop icons similar to most windows installation programs.

New Free Version !!!

This download is not a demonstration version - it is a fully functional, but very basic veterinary patient records system. This version includes basic client, patient and visit records. There are no restrictions on the number of patient records. To be sure, the free version is not nearly as complete as the full version, however if you only require very basic patient records, perhaps this free version will be useful to you!
